Rural Enterprise and Economic Development in Southern Africa

For the youth..
..and for the future

The systemic gaps we address
In rural, peri-urban and township communities, potential is strangled by four divides:
Service divide: Water, electricity, transport and basic infrastructure often stop at township and rural boundaries.
Trade divide: Rural producers struggle to access high-value markets and formal value chains.
Technology divide: Imported agri-tech assumes reliable power, connectivity and capital that don't exist.
Voice divide: Decisions about food and development are made far away; communities live with the consequences without real agency.
“We do not accept these divides as permanent.
We design a system that works around them first—then systematically closes them.”
